Hudson Fiber Network (HFN), an exclusive provider of high-bandwidth, low-latency networking solutions, today announced that it has opened up two, ultra-low latency, metro New York Fast Path fiber routes. Combined with HFN’s X-Change Connect Metro Ethernet solution, they connect financial services customers to 1400 Federal Boulevard in Carteret, NJ.
Because HFN continues to provide buy-side and sell-side customers and pre- and post-trade service providers ultra-low latency routes to the top exchanges in North America, these new Fast Paths connect 300 Boulevard East in Weehawken, NJ, 755 Secaucus Road (and 275 Hartz Way) in Secaucus, NJ to 1400 Federal Boulevard in Carteret, NJ.
“HFN is committed to delivering customers the flexibility they need to reach the exchanges,” said Keith Muller, CEO of HFN. “Because every customer is different, HFN delivers customized solutions. With these new Fast Paths, depending on a customer’s needs, HFN can accommodate from 10 MB up to 40 Gig connectivity.”
These metro-to-metro routes will also benefit from HFN’s passive wavelength-routed, optical network at 1400 Federal Boulevard─cutting the need for additional equipment at the destination to further lower latency. Additionally, HFN’s passive wavelength technology is offered in metro-to-metro areas across North America connecting customers to the top exchanges in New York, Chicago and Toronto.
